This is an exciting time for us as we focus on improving the timeliness and flexibility of payments to ensure our clients have smooth transitions through each stage of their ACC relationship.
What we are looking for from you to be successful in this role:
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, clarifying and asking payment related questions
  • Ability to review and use a wide range of financial information and legislation, assess risks and make sound decisions on claim / financial assessments
  • Ability to support your team and pitch in where necessary mentoring and supporting each other
  • Previous experience in a customer service role and / or life experiences working in insurance or banking environments that has enabled you to support people from a variety of backgrounds
  • Good financial / numeracy / payment and claims skills
  • Comfortable working with technology financial systems
Part of your day will be connecting with your team to understand performance results, customer feedback and how we support each other to ensure we meet our customer's expectations. Our goal is to have you learn and grow so our leaders promote individualised coaching. Our Payment Assessors have two pay levels, which means over time, you have the opportunity to grow capability and progress into a more complex role.

The indicative salary sits between $52,000 and $74,545 for the entry level, and $57,938 and $81,794 for the higher level. Appointment level will be dependent on your skills and experience. Additional to the base salary we also provide ACC's 9% superannuation contribution. The hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the flexibility of hours between 7.00 am to 7.00 pm (eight hours per day).
Please note that we will be running skill based assessments for our shortlisted candidates between 14 May - 23 May and interviews will be held between the 28 May - 6 June. Please make sure you are available on these dates if you have expressed your interest in this role.
