ACC's vision is to create a unique partnership with every New Zealander, improving their quality of life by minimising the incidence and impact of injury. As a proven healthcare professional, you will be experienced at providing people with care, respect, evidence-based support and will have a positive outlook. You have wide experience in providing clinical input to clients, and are familiar with the New Zealand health landscape. You are currently working in a clinical setting, and you wish to add a new part-time role to your work life to upskill and diversify in the next stage of your career.

When you join us you'll enjoy a wide scope to keep supporting people and excellent opportunities to invest in a worthwhile and rewarding career. This is an excellent opportunity to use your advanced clinical, analytical and communication skills to facilitate the recovery of clients whilst working in a supportive, dynamic and rapidly changing work environment.

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist who has a broad knowledge of different areas of psychological dysfunction, including effects of sexual abuse, physical injury and traumatic brain injury; is skilled in the classification and assessment of psychological conditions; has excellent verbal and written communication skills; and is a quick, flexible, astute and analytical thinker.
On a daily basis, your skills and abilities would be put to good use in a medico-legal setting. You will review clinical information, seek clarification, work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, provide verbal and written advice, and support internal and external stakeholders to make the best decisions on claims and to facilitate successful rehabilitation outcomes for ACC clients.

Knowledge of ACC and our processes will also be an advantage, as will experience in working with people from different cultures. If you have the desire to do something a little different that makes a huge difference, let's talk further.

At ACC, we recognise that diversity, inclusion and accessibility is important to our business. We embrace the unique perspective and capabilities of our current and future employees, which will help us continue to drive innovation and achieve our business goals. Our culture enables us to create an environment of involvement, respect and connection with the communities where we work - benefitting individual employees and all our clients across New Zealand.

Applications will run through to Monday, 29 July 2019 but please note that if an ideal candidate is found during this time we will move forward with screening and interviewing sooner.

Applications will only be accepted when formally submitted through our ACC Career Website.
